If we are facebook friends you probably already know this, if not, I feel like I simply must provide this valuable tip that I recently learned first hand.
If you hear rustling in a tree, especially if it is near you or above your head, GET AWAY FROM THE TREE. Nature is not your friend. How do I know this? A few weeks ago I heard rusting in a tree. What happened. A squirrel FELL OUT AND LANDED ON ME.
Why? I don’t know. I don’t think I’ve done anything to anger the squirrel population. I’ve never even hit one with my car.
But sure enough. Rustling. Falling. Screaming.
And then laughing. It’s okay, I know you’d probably laugh if you saw someone get hit by a squirrel. Just ask my sister-in-law. Apparently it was funny.
I know some of you nature lovers are concerned about the squirrel. Let me tell you something. I could not care less if the squirrel was okay. In fact, I hope that he wasn’t totally okay. He scratched my shoulder, he should at least be a little bruised (even if it is just his ego.)
So there you go. My lesson for those of you brave enough to go outside. Don’t. Just don’t. Nature is brutal.
Now you know.
